On December 2, reporters learned from Liangjiang New Area that Liangjiang New Area has steadily promoted project construction on the basis of epidemic prevention and control.
"With the help of the Liangjiang New Area Construction Bureau and other units, our project has hardly been affected, and the project is being carried out in an orderly way." On the evening of December 1st, Jian Zhijun, project manager of Ganfeng New lithium battery Science and Technology Industrial Park, said in an interview with reporters that the project was advancing efficiently and orderly in accordance with the construction schedule. Although it was late at night, the construction site was still in full motion.

The Ganfeng New lithium battery Science and Technology Industrial Park project includes three sub-projects: solid state battery Technology Research Institute, solid state battery production base and battery pack system, which will build the largest solid state battery production base in China. The planned battery capacity will reach 10GWh, and the pack project will also reach 10GWh, as well as providing system solutions including cells, modules, BMS and battery packs.
"One of the biggest challenges of closed-loop construction is the supply of raw materials." Jian Zhijun said that Liangjiang New Area in advance to coordinate the steel, steel pipe, concrete, gravel and other raw material suppliers, and logistics vehicle permits, to ensure the timely and efficient transportation of raw materials to the project.
During the closed loop construction, the project has a total of nearly 500 workers. In order to create good closed-loop construction conditions for workers, Liangjiang New District has set up nucleic acid detection sites in the project site of Ganfeng New-type lithium battery Science and Technology Industrial Park, and organized personnel to do nucleic acid detection for workers.
"The first phase of the project is about 350,000 square meters. At present, one building has been completed, another concrete building is nearing the end and is paving the last floor. Other buildings such as factories, warehouses, dormitories and experimental centers are also in orderly progress." Jian Zhijun said the first phase of the project has not been affected, and is expected to be completed and delivered in August next year.
