From the perspective of provincial layout, Shandong Province ranks first in terms of the number of signed and started projects, which has signed and started 8 energy storage power station projects with a total installed capacity of 1650MW. According to the introduction, the first phase of the project to build a 350 MW / 1.4 million KWH unit, designed energy storage/charging time of 8 hours, energy release/discharge time of 4 hours. The comprehensive conversion efficiency of the system reaches more than 70%. After the two phases are fully put into operation, the annual power generation will be about 1 billion KWH. On September 5, Shanxi Jinhai Clean Energy Co., Ltd. began construction of a 500MW/1GWh shared energy storage power station. It is reported that the project will become the first and largest single electrochemical shared energy storage demonstration project in China after the full capacity is completed and put into operation, with an annual output value of about 300 million yuan. Once completed, the project will help solve the problem of power grid security, improve the regional energy structure and increase the proportion of clean energy delivery. It can also effectively improve the absorption capacity of new energy, minimize the occurrence of wind abandonment, light abandonment and other phenomena, and improve the operation capacity of the power grid, stable the safe operation of the power grid.

It is located in Suyin Industrial Park, Binhe New District, Yinchuan City, covering an area of 351,200 square meters and an above-ground construction area of 220,000 square meters, including pilot workshop, air compressor steam station, module PACK workshop, cell workshop, test center and other construction tasks.

The first phase of the project is planned to invest 3 billion yuan to build a 5GWh lithium iron phosphate cell production line, and 10 new production lines will be built.
